MS. ZARINA MEHTA

Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment: Corporate: (2012)

Zarina Mehta is one of the three founder directors of UTV, and is on the Board of the UTV Software Communications Limited. Over the last 15 years, Zarina has been responsible for the start-up & creation of some of UTV's major divisions and has produced over 3500 hours of high TRP, award-winning television programming in multiple languages. Zarina is also a multi-award-winning director of corporate documentaries with a passion for children's television.

EKTA KAPOOR

Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment: Creative: (2012)

Ekta Kapoor is an Indian TV and film producer. She is the Joint Managing Director and Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms, her production company.
Ekta Kapoor is the daughter of actor Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor.She has produced numerous soap opera, television series and movies. She is currently producing Pavitra Rishta, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Jodha Akbar, Pavitra Bandhan and Ye Hai Mohabbatein[4].
She ventured into Bollywood movie production in 2001 beginning with Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta . Kucch To Hai and Krishna Cottage based on supernatural themes followed in 2003 and 2004.

DR. FIRUZA PARIKH

Outstanding Achievement in Health & Science: (2012)

Dr. Parikh has several firsts to her credit among them South East Asia's first ICSI baby, first pregnancy by LASER Assisted Hatching, Pioneered the technique of Cumulus Aided Transfer (CAT) for the first time in the world 2005 and is responsible for the birth of the first ICSI baby in India.



MS. DAKSHA SHETH

Outstanding Achievement in Fine Arts: Performance: (2012)

Daksha Sheth popular for her contemporary and modern dance form, carved a reputation for herself when she began to explore a range of movement performed with in many diverse styles. She draws from her experience from many dance forms like Kathak, Mayurbhanj Chhau, Martial art of Kalaripayattu from Kerala, aerial technique of Mallakhamb to beautifully combine tradition with Contemporary Dance.

MRS. UMA VASUDEV

Outstanding Achievement in Literature: (2012)

Mrs Uma Vasudev is the author of much acclaimed and best selling biographies 'Indira Gandhi; Courage under Fire' and 'Indira Gandhi: Revolution in Restraint'.
'The Song of Anasuya', 'Shreya of Sonagarh', 'Satish Gurjal: Where the Silence Speaks, Paintings', 'Kranthijia', 'Hariprasad Chaurasia' are among her other works

MS. SHUCHI KRISHAN

Outstanding Achievements in Fine Arts: Painting & Sculpting (2012)

Her interest in art developed in her childhood as she grew up seeing beautiful paintings by her grandmother. This early enthusiasm has now become the driving force, which makes her create through painting. Inspiration for her comes from her immediate environment and living close to Rajasthan. She also loves to paint the human figure especially of women, deep in thought, synthesizing some detail of the architecture in the background. Shuchi has worked with different art forms and media. She specializes in the oil painting technique and the wash painting technique of the Bengal school of Arts. She also is an exponent of the ethnic art form ‘Lepan’-murals



MRS. KAVITA GADGIL

Outstanding Achievement in Social Contribution: (2012)

Mrs Kavita Gadgil founded the ‘Abhijit Air Safety Foundation’ named after her son who passed away in a MiG 21 Crash in September 2001. The AASF fights for accountablility in aircraft crashes and has is now a registered trust and a permanent national memorial for all the soldier-pilots who have lost their lives in the course of flying duties in war or peace.

MS. RITU BERI

Outstanding Achievement in Fashion & Design: (2012)

Ritu Beri is a New Delhi Based international fashion designer. She headed the French fashion brand Scherrer, being the first Asian to do so. She is the first Indian fashion ambassador to attend catwalks of Paris. She is on the board of the Governors at NIFT, and an honorary patron of an NGO Savera Association that engaged in improving the lives of Indian woman.

JWALA GUTTA

Outstanding Achievement in Sports: (2012)

She is a left-handed badminton player who had excelled as one of the best doubles player in India. She had created history by winning a bronze medal in the women’s doubles at World Championship in 2011. She had also won gold medal in Commonwealth games, 2010 held at New Delhi in the women’s double. She also represented India in the 2014 London Olympics in the doubles category
